Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Distill ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. Distill is currently in beta, and these terms may be updated as we evolve.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using Distill, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. User Accounts & Security

Your account is tied to your mobile number. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account access. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Beta Service & Modifications

Distill is provided "as is" and "as available" during its beta phase. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any service interruptions or loss of data during this period.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

Payments are handled securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Stripe's terms and authorize us to charge the specified amount to your chosen payment method. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis unless otherwise required by law.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Distill and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
